Before You Allow Someone in Your Life, Determine Who Sent Them!
2/15/24
Scrutinize your next date or a promising job position.
When a new person shows up in your life, unexpectedly, the number one question you need to find out is, “Who sent them?” There are only two answers—God, or the enemy of God. You don’t want to have anything to do with a person sent by the enemy of God because that person’s mission is to derail your agenda and wreck your life, to rob you of your livelihood and your prosperity (or prosperity-potential). Even if you have a lucrative job position offered you or are introduced to a seemingly vibrant person, that doesn’t mean God sent them or that opportunity is from God. Before God’s person shows up in your life, often the enemy shows up, as a “viable” love interest, a “suitable” BFF or a career “opportunity.”
Following are ways to easily detect “Who sent that person”— God or the enemy of God?
Charm is not everything, and is usually suspect. How a person operates matters. A person sent by the devil, will be charming, beyond anything you can imagine. An enemy of God will even speak in a whispering voice when he wants something from you that goes against your core principles. That’s a part of the irresistible charm. He will also reference Bible quotes, however, he will twists the message of God to accommodate his or her agenda.
Fast and out of order is not from God. The enemy will move as fast as lightning, and do everything out of order. They want to have a physical relationship as soon as they meet you, but don’t want to commit to marriage. They don’t follow God’s order; they don’t even follow the common sense of a bird. And they love to have fun by living reckless.
Temporary and non-committal, is not prosperous. Don’t pre-plan your future with someone who is not committed to you. A person may appear to check all your boxes, but are you too focused on boxes to check, and not seeing red flags that are flying high? When you decide you only have one option, but you know there is something wrong with that option, don’t try to make a square peg fit into a round circle. Assess what is real, understanding there are always other options (that you simply don’t know of, at the moment). Empty promises and reckless commitments are not beneficial to God’s people. Ignore anyone who shows no plans or effort to fulfill the promises he suggests. Do not engage in activities that could subject you to lifelong obligations, yet you have no legal commitment from that person.
Are opportunities really opportunities? Every opportunity that comes along is not good and can destroy your future—and your soul. If a job sounds too good to believe, it probably came from the devil. If the job pays too much for the ease of the job tasks, this is likely a "fall guy’s" position, which is not worth having because you are putting your life in jeopardy. If you know a job’s assignment doesn’t make sense or you feel you are not being told certain details of the job assignment, it’s not worth taking the job, even for a short time—find some other way to make money that is transparent and that feels right.
The ungodly look for "fall guys." If any individual or business wants you to resort to violence, racist tactics and bullying, that is a person who wants you to fight for him because he doesn’t want to get caught and the consequences. So, he wants anyone who is fool enough to take the fall for him. Therefore, people with little skills and means are most often approached to do a dangerous job with the promise of a large payout. Yet, in this situation, people should determine that the devil is testing them, and therefore should wait for a better opportunity, which comes after successfully passing the test to not fall for the tricks of a schemer. If you are expected to be violent, or you have to expose your physical body, the enemy sent the “employer” and it’s going to be a job that you should decline because it will not be worth your integrity, or your life. Such jobs do nothing, but leave you absolutely empty. Instead of getting involved with anyone who has been sent by the enemy, resist the enemy, with a definitive “No,” and he or she will flee because the enemy hates to be rejected twice. You do not need to fear the enemy of God, because God is with you when you stand with Him and the principles He has given.
Background checks are necessary. Avoid voting for candidates who want to sit in high offices to benefit themselves. Greedy candidates will say anything to charm the public, to get in office. Voting for the most ethical candidate, requires you to assess each candidate’s background of service and their motive for wanting the position. Anyone who fights dirty is not a good candidate for the public. An unethical candidate will tell you, your taxes will be lowered, but will raise them after he is elected. So, make a careful assessment before voting, to have the best outcome after the election.
Out-of-position. The ungodly don’t want to be led; they want to lead, so they go for high positions. Even in church, there are enemies of God, from the pulpit to the choir director, who are in a position they lack the experience and integrity for. No one is exempt from scrutiny, in order to block the enemy of God from creating havoc in society. An enemy of God should never lead God’s people, and it is up to God’s people to detect the enemy and ban him from leadership positions, especially the position of minister.
So, when someone shows up, unexpectedly, don’t assume it’s a miracle from God. Be suspicious. Don’t let your guard down. Instead, ask questions, look for red flags, do your research, and have your family and friends to check out the person—before you let a person into your life. Research any job opportunity, like they will research you! Examine people, the way they show up. If a minister is wearing sparkling jewelry and designer suits, he is probably not investing enough resources into people in the community. Asking yourself, “Who sent them,” gives you a pause to assess the person or situation, in order to make choices that work good for you and your godly potential!
